Hello this is Debbie Porter, Texas.
My name is Deborah, but all my friends call me Debbie. I grew up knowing something was different about me, however I didn't know it was Noonan's. I have been told that as an infant my parents were told I was a failure to thrive baby and would never grow up, never have kids and always be that of a child. Well My parent NEVER talked about this, nor did they ever take me to the doctor for follow up's on this. They did take care of all my medical needs, but NEVER anything about what was told to them while I was a baby. I never got very large. I am 5' @98 lbs. I don't think I'm a picky eater. It's just that sometimes certain foods actually curb my hunger. Basically the sight or smell of certain foods can sometimes make me loose my appetite. I have most all the physical feature's of Noonan. I work as an Office Manager in a automotive company in Texas, and I never have anyone to talk about this to other than here. So thank you for letting me know I'm not alone on the face of this planet.
