CORPORATE CONTRIBUTIONS AND SPONSORSHIPS
Although a monetary contribution is always appreciated,
there are many other ways that a corporation can help. Depending on your
objectives, you can either sponsor a Foundation event or designate a percentage
of your company's profits (annually or related to a specific corporate event) to
the Foundation.
Like any other business, the Group has administrative and operating costs
associated with its work. Any contribution that can reduce operating expenses
will allow the Group to allocate more funds to research and educational
programs. Contributions of this nature include "in kind" gifts of office
equipment (i.e. photocopier, fax, computers, file cabinets), office supplies,
and/or merchandise for fundraisers. Professional services such as legal,
accounting, fundraising, publicity, or advertising on a pro bono or discounted
basis is needed, along with the underwriting of printing and copying charges
related to stationary, business cards, mailing materials and pamphlets.
